Guidelines for New Construction or Remodeling

The construction of new retail food establishments is regulated by the Health,  Building and Fire Department. Health Department construction requirements project are regulated under the jurisdiction of the Indiana State Department of Health Retail food Establishment Sanitation Requirements Title 410 IAC - 7-24 which are available @ www.in.gov/isdh/21062.htm or the Whitley County Health Department at 220 West VanBuren Street, Ste. 111, Columbia City, IN  46725

     Remodeling projects are subject to the same specifications and the information may be obtained as mentioned above.
