Public Swimming Pool Inspections

The Whitley County Health Department inspects every public swimming pool at least once per month. The pool is checked for chlorine, pH, and alkalinity. The swimming pool operator must keep a daily log of all chemical tests and major incidents at the pool or spa. The Whitley County Health Department enforces the existing Indiana State Law (found under Ordinances) if need be, but does not have a County Ordinance with fines or penalities.
