The Whitley County Jail Matron, under supervision of the Sheriff, is responsible for the inmate commissary program.
 
What is commissary?
Commissary is supplies and "extras" available for sale to inmates. Examples are snacks, toiletries, clothing, etc.
 
 
There are several ways to send money for commissary.
 
  • IN PERSON: Cash may be deposited into the kiosk in the lobby of the Jail 24 hours per day. No personal checks. The kiosk will also take credit card payments. NOTE THAT WE NO LONGER ACCEPT MONEY ORDERS OR CASHIER'S CHECKS AT THE WHITLEY COUNTY JAIL FOR COMMISSARY.
