Voter Registration

You can register to vote on-line here or you can print this Voter Registration Form (VRG-7) and mail or bring it to the Clerk's office at the Whitley County Courthouse, 101 W Van Buren St, Room 18, Columbia City, IN 46725.



  • You are a Citizen of the United States; 
  • You will be 18 years of age by the time of the next general election; 
  • You will have been a resident of your precinct for 30 days before the election and you are not currently in prison after being convicted of a crime. 
  • Anyone wishing to vote MUST give their 10 digit Indiana Driver's License number or if you do not have an Indiana Driver's License, you may give the last four digits of your social security number


  • The last day to register to vote for the 2019 Municipal Primary Election is Monday, April 8, 2019.
  • The next Primary Election is May 7, 2019.
  • The last day to register to vote for the 2019 Municipal General Election is Tuesday, October 7, 2019.
  • The next General Election is November 5, 2019.
