Voting Districts

By law, voting districts or precincts, are created and/or amended by the Whitley County Clerk with assistance of the Whitley County Engineer and the Whitley County GIS Coordinator.  Each precinct submitted to the state for approval has to be accompanied by a legal description of the boundary of the precinct and a list of each census block and tract within the precinct.
